Coming soon the Compton entertainment channel a tv channel dedicated to providing information to the shareholders of Compton. The Compton entertainment channel will be an easy source of news and information on and about the city of Compton. Advertising will be available for businesses and events. The channel will be on all streaming channels Roku, Apple TV, Amazon TV, and more also live streaming of events such as Townhall meetings and special events will be available. The city of Compton has compiled a unique team of local individuals to go to New York to take part in the Bloomberg/Harvard leadership program. The program is a 12 week intensive program designed to teach key players how to interact with city shareholders, city officials and non profits to improve various issues in the city. Compton is one of 10 cities from around the world with different and similar issues that need immediate attention. Issues such as homelessness, beautification and infrastructure will all be addressed. The teams have been meeting online for 5 weeks and now are spending 6 days in face to face classes with another 8 weeks of classes when they return. The goal is to give them the tools necessary to make Compton and other cities better places to live. The Compton team consists of Roslyn Mc Gary, Maria Villarreal, Karen Harris, LaShawn Kindle-Young, Jimmie Smith, John Strickland and Alonzo Williams

A year ago, the Eve After Dark took center stage at the 2022 Superbowl Halftime show. Now, see the story of how it went from Avalon and El Segundo to the Superbowl

In 2022 Dr Dre stood on top of the Eve After Dark in the Super Bowl halftime show along with other Compton landmarks. And now the documentary will be shown in the Pan African Film Festival the screening TBA. Stay tuned

The Compton music Conservatory will starting there free music classes this month and they are looking for music minded youngsters that want to learn to play an instrument. See flyer for details. 

The Compton Entertainment chamber of commerce and Councilman Duhart awared the AutoZone Store 2580 on Compton Blvd the award for Beautification and Great maintenance.  The award was accepted by store manager Cynthia Castillo. See video for full presentation video
