BREAKING NEWS: Bears to Hire Colts' Eberflus as HC

The Chicago Bears have reportedly found a replacement for the fired Matt Nagy. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, they've hired Matt Eberflus, defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts, as their new head coach. Eberflus, 51, is a football lifer, but has never been a head coach at any level until now. AB to Pursue Legal Action Against Buccaneers

AB to Pursue Legal Action Against Buccaneers

A celebratory meme following the playoff elimination of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers does not appear to be Antonio Brown's last poke at his former team. Now the wide receiver is talking about transferring his messy breakup with the franchise from the court of public opinion to an actual courtroom. That's what Brown and his lawyer, Sean Burstyn, suggested in an appearance on HBO's "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" that aired Tuesday night. The interview also featured a new allegation: that Tampa Bay offered Brown a $200,000 injury settlement in exchange for him sitting out the rest of the season and entering mental health treatment.

Blackhawks Lose to Avalanche

Blackhawks Lose to Avalanche

Continuing on the home stand the Colorado Avalanche hosted the Chicago Blackhawks for the final time this season and walked away with a 2-0 victory. While the slow starts are becoming an alarming theme the Avalanche just keep finding ways to win on the back of Pavel Francouz's second straight shutout and 16th consecutive win on home ice at Ball Arena. It was another slow start for the Avalanche as they fought the puck the entire first period and gave up a bunch of odd-man rushes off of turnovers. Luckily Pavel Francouz was up to the task and did not allow a puck past him which gave the Avalanche time to regroup.

Nicola Vucevic had 26 points and 15 rebounds, and the Chicago Bulls  withstood a fierce rally by Oklahoma City to beat the Thunder 111-110 on Monday night.  The Bulls led by 28 points in the third quarter, but the Thunder had a chance to tie it in the closing seconds. Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed a 3-pointer that would have evened the score with 2.3 seconds to play. The Bulls were short-handed. DeMar DeRozan, who averages 26.3 points per game, rested. Lonzo Ball was out with a bruised left knee and Alex Caruso missed the game with a fractured wrist suffered when Milwaukee's  Grayson Allen yanked him to the ground. Rookie Ayo Dosunmu scored a season-high 24 points and Zach LaVine added 23 for the Bulls.
