The Clippers and the Mavericks seemingly always match up in the playoffs. The teams have faced off in the playoffs 3 out of the past 5 seasons. Playing against each other so much creates a level of familiarity between the teams. That familiarity can also create a touch of animosity. The playoffs are intense, and emotions run high. Additionally, the intensity and emotions are even more heightened when you have been going up against a certain team for so long. In game 3, Russell Westbrook and PJ Washington were ejected after an altercation after Westbrook's hard foul on Luka Doncic. Washington starred down the Clippers bench, taunting them with his arms crossed. Paul George made sure to remember that for game 3. 

Game 4 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers was a spectacle. The Clippers dominated the first quarter, outscoring the Mavs 39-16. The Mavericks, however, were not to be outdone, gradually closing the gap and turning it into a nail-biting contest in the fourth. This was playoff basketball at its finest. Leading the charge was Paul George, a man on a mission, who lit up the court with five 3-pointers in the first half. After his 5th 3 of the first half, Paul George hit PJ Washington with the same taunt he had given the Clippers bench.

Paul George Stares Down PJ Washington

Paul George was on one in game 4. The Clippers dominated the first half, and George went off, hitting five threes. The tough guy act PJ Washington hit the Clippers bench with was obviously something they did not take lightly. Paul George decided to remind Washington while simultaneously lighting up the Mavs on the scoreboard. The series has been very entertaining, and it looks like it could go seven games. 

The Mavs and the Clippers are now tied 2-2. Despite the absence of Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers were able to tie the series up. The status of their star is uncertain, but James Harden and Paul George have seriously stepped up. Luka Doncic has not been the same MVP he has been all season this series and will look to get his game back on track. Overall, Clippers Mavericks might be the best first-round series of the playoffs.

Karlissa Saffold and Chrisean Rock have never truly seen eye to eye with one another. Overall, their relationship has been strained ever since Chrisean and Blueface got together. Once Chrisean had her child, things got even more complicated. This is mostly due to the fact that Saffold has not been allowed to see her grandson. She has been very adamant about how much that has hurt her, although it seems like Chrisean still isn't budging on that topic. Now, however, things do seem to be getting a lot more serious, and not in a good way.

In a new Instagram story, Karlissa posted some DMs with an unknown person. She also said, "I'll have a restraining order by Monday at noon." This is meant to be directed at Chrisean Rock, although there is no telling if she is being serious with this threat. What we do know is that the tensions between Chrisean and Karlissa have been ongoing for quite some time. Now, Saffold feels threatened by Rock, and is even interested in pressing charges if things continue down this route.

At this point, it does feel as though these two will never see eye to eye. Furthermore, if threats of violence are truly present here, then something needs to happen quickly. Only time will tell whether or not Saffold actually goes through with this aforementioned threat. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail here. You never want to see two sides be in such a heated feud, especially when a child is involved.

The Phoenix Suns have been swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kevin Durant's Suns were outmatched, outmuscled, and outplayed by the Wolves led by Anthony Edwards. The Suns lost game 4 122-116 on Sunday night, and it is an anticlimactic end to the season for what many called a super team when they were assembled. Kevin Durant scored 33 points, and his teammate Devin Booker poured in 49 in a losing effort. Bradley Beal had a forgettable 9 points and largely struggled to cope with the Wolves defense. 

The series against the Wolves has illuminated the Suns' team dynamics. They boast one of the most gifted scorers in NBA history in Durant. Booker is a great scorer and one of the best 2-guards in the league. Bradley Beal was at least a great scorer before his injury. However, the team lacks a real point guard. Moreover, the Suns seemed to rely on their three stars taking turns trying to score rather than running a cohesive offense. Ultimately, The Wolves showed the flaws in the Suns' roster and how everyone fits. Evidently, Kevin Durant has always had questions about his role and fit on the team.

Reportedly, Kevin Durant has expressed that he has been uncomfortable in his role all season. Durant feels like he was made to spot up in the corner too much as his other teammates handle the action. Additionally, Durant has reportedly expressed that the offense didn't play to his strengths as the Sun's game plan was built around pick and rolls. In his post-game presser, Durant denied the report and reinforced that he was always excited to play with Booker and Beal. Ultimately, the Suns are a flawed team with a ton of offensive talent that doesn't fit together in the best way. 

The Suns are headed home, and the Timberwolves are heading to the second round. Additionally, Anthony Edwards is planting his flag as the next big star in the league. Furthermore, the young gun talked trash all the way through the sweep and backed it up with his play. Minnesota's defense is legitimate, and it gives them a chance against anyone. Their likely opponent in round 2 is the Denver Nuggets, who are up 3-1 on the Lakers. Overall, It might be the must-see matchup of the playoffs.

Lil Nas X and Baby Storme went at it on Twitter, over the weekend, regarding the inspiration for one of Nas' recent looks. Storme, who previously has claimed to be an ex-best friend of Ice Spice, says Nas copied her "identity" during his Christian era. She also recalled him being "the first major celebrity to discover me."

One song that we have been enjoying from this new PARTYNEXTDOOR album is "Make It To The Morning."

The veteran sticks to his tried-and-true formula of moody slow-mo sounds on this cut, just like the rest of the album does. "M a k e I t T o T h e M o r n i n g" sees PARTY singing passionately about wanting to give this girl he is seeing a chance, even though she seems to be problematic. It appears that this song is depicting their first time seeing each other and instead of his normal routine and of a same-night stand, he wants to make it to the next day.

New York multi-hyphenate A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is in the midst of an exciting 2024. The hitmaker has been dropping a lot of new music lately, including a four-track EP ALONE that saw him go in his R&B bag. It was a taster for his upcoming full-length project Better Off Alone, his first LP since 2022's Me vs. Myself. The supposed album with a mix of rap & R&B will be out on May 17, but the Artist is already on tour as we speak. It is a massive expedition, as the 28-year-old MC started out in New Zealand and Australia, he will head to North America after the album drops, and he is currently wrapping up shows in the UK and Europe.

Last night (April 28), A Boogie wanted to wind down with a chill evening in Paris at a local nightclub. He had performed earlier that same day at Zenith Arena. However, the night out turned sour after a pretty intense altercation with the club's bouncers. According to the video obtained by AllHipHop, the two-minute clip was taken by a witness of the heated altercation and uploaded to TikTok. A Boogie is seen drinking alcohol straight from the bottle while walking up with his entourage trying to gain entry to the club. But his boys were already having issues of their own getting in. So, the rapper says, "we out," and walks back to chauffer.

One of the bouncers grabs a pole, another one sprays one of Boogie's friends with something (pepper spray?), and a lot of pushing ensues. The city of Chicago referenced both Drake and Lil Zay Osama in its 41-page complaint against gun manufacturer Glock. The lawsuit accuses the company of violating the Illinois Firearms Industry Responsibility Act by allowing their firearms to be altered into illegal machine guns. The law, which passed last year, allows gun manufacturers to be held accountable for public harm caused by action or inaction from their unsafe and unlawful sales and marketing practices.

The city mentions a cultural embedding of such firearms by referencing Drake and 21 Savage's "Jimmy Cooks." In the song, 21 raps: "This Glock .45 came with a switch / If I was Will Smith, I would've slapped him with a stick / Put your hands in the air, it's a stick-up."

"While Chicago has long struggled with an epidemic of gun violence, it is unquestionable that the ease of modification of Glocks and the resulting prevalence of Modified Glocks have made the situation worse," the city said in its lawsuit. It also argues: "Glock also knows it could fix the problem, but has chosen not to, putting profits over public safety and violating the law." The filing also claims that Chicago police recovered over 1,100 modified Glocks between 2021 and 2023. Chicago Deputy Mayor of Community Safety Garien Gatewood said, according to the Washington Post: "We have been a punching bag nationally on violence. It's important that people understand that we're dealing with mass shootings at a level not seen anywhere else in the country."

Kanye West and Kai Cenat had been in a bit of a feud recently. Overall, it all centered around Ye's Yeezy clothing and the pair of pants Cenat received on stream a few months ago. Although he got the pants he wanted, they did not fit particularly well. Instead, Cenat was unable to wear them, and he could not help but roast Kanye for it. West subsequently sent Cenat a DM where he made the claim that Cenat was being paid off by Adidas to say bad things about his clothing.

Recently, while speaking to Justin Laboy, Ye straight up said that Cenat was some sort of industry plant. Cenat did not take too kindly to these comments, and he gave Ye a piece of his mind. Now, it seems as though the two have officially let bygones be bygones. In the video down below, you can see that Cenat was gifted a brand-new pair of Yeezy pants. In fact, the pants actually fit him quite well. Throughout the clip, Cenat showed gratitude towards Ye. Clearly, he was actually happy with the pants and how they ultimately came together.

From there, people would see the images of Quavo's concert, and assume that he had fallen off. It is a pretty interesting move, that does nothing but put money in Quavo's pockets. "Oh this shit getting different," 50 said. Overall, the legendary artist seems to be very amused by all of this, and it is easy to see why. R&B royalty Ne-Yo is currently in the eye of a storm of controversy after being hit with some damning allegations by an ex. On April 25, 2024, Sade Bagnerise, one of Ne-Yo's exes and baby mothers, took to Instagram to get some things off her chest, alleging both physical abuse and child neglect. The video of their exchange has gone viral on social media and Bagnerise has since apologized. The verbal dispute between Ne-Yo and his ex went down during a livestream on Bagnerise's Instagram account. During their argument, Bagnerise accused Ne-Yo of physically assaulting her, even calling him "Diddy Jr." "Diddy Jr., tell them about the freak-off," she says as the video begins. "You know what you did. You body-slammed me on the floor... Tell them the real you and why we're here today," Bagnerise continues. Throughout the ordeal, Ne-Yo can be heard responding to the accusations. However, most of what he says goes unheard as Bagnerise is louder. Nevertheless, it is pretty clear that, at some point, he threatens to call the police on her because of "the commotion."

Later in the video, Sade takes a shot at Ne-Yo for allegedly neglecting the two kids they share. "He wants ho*s over the house while his kids is here. You f**king like to have ho*s, drugs and weed, alcohol, mushrooms, and prostitutes in the house while your kids are here," she said. For the most part, Ne-Yo tried to ignore her by gaming, but that proved unsuccessful as she pressed him further.

"Everyone has asked him to stop, but he will not listen to nobody," she continued. "This is what's going on, this is the tea. While the b*tches in the house, I asked him not to bring no b*tches in the house. I even came over here to help him with these f**king kids because he won't watch these kids." Later in the video, she's heard saying, "He don't care about these kids. All he care about is doing drugs, drinking alcohol, and f*cking these ho*s."

Several hours after Ne-Yo was dragged by his ex on Instagram Live, Bagnerise apologized for her actions. In a series of posts on her Instagram story, she stated that her emotions were high. "Full moon was out, cycle on, postpartum built with frustration and a lot of underlining issues that we needed to be addressed. Trying to do that with the problem present made heightened emotions. I'm human. I hurt too. & i want the best for everyone. That's all I was fussing for. Nothing more," she wrote. Tagging Ne-Yo, she wrote, "Sorry for how I communicated my frustration with you. Let's do better."
