The Truth is.. I was broken. Stumbling and falling before I even met BoyFriend#5. I was single but in situationships with three different women at the same time right before I met him. So lost in my identity because I really wasn't happy with who I was. I wanted happiness so bad that I settled for someone who made me smile and laugh. I didn't know that he was stumbling and falling too. He hid it very well just like I hid mines. Before I knew it my smiles and laughter turned into years of daily tears and pain. His drinking produced narcissistic behaviors that led to verbal abuse, and neglect.
