Robyn Announces First Album In Eight Years, 'Sexistential,' Shares Title Track And "Talk To Me"

Swedish pop star Robyn will release her ninth album, Sexistential, on March 27 via Young, marking her first new record in nearly a decade since 2018's Honey. The singer unveiled two new songs to preview the project, the title track and "Talk To Me," which features production by longtime collaborator Klas hlund and Oscar Holter, with co-writing credits from Max Martin. "I wrote it during the pandemic when there was no way to be physical. I like talkers, that turns me on," Robyn stated. The album announcement follows the recent release of lead single, "Dopamine," which she performed live in Times Square on CNN's New Year's Eve special. "Exploring my sensual life is the same feeling as when I make a good song," she explained. "I feel like the purpose of my life is to stay horny." To promote her upcoming release, Robyn also performed on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (Jan. 7).
