Heavy, Catchy, Emotional - DONT YOU DARE's New Single "SOS" Now Out

Born from the raw concrete of Sacramento, California, DONT YOU DARE is a modern rock duo fusing the intensity of nu-metal and metalcore with raw, unfiltered emotion.

Vocalist Noah Duarte, a poet turned frontman, joined forces with guitarist Matt English to create a sound that's both therapeutic and confrontational, the foundation of what would become DONT YOU DARE.
Their debut single, "S.O.S", releasing via The Artery Foundation, is an unfiltered outcry against disconnection, a lifeline for anyone who's ever felt unheard, ignored, or invisible. It's a heavy, unrelenting statement about reaching your breaking point, reclaiming your voice, and refusing to stay silent.
Musical influences:
(Noah) - My biggest influences are Issues, 6lack, and Three Days Grace. Growing up, my taste was shaped by early 2000s hard rock and nu-metal, with a good mix of R&B and pop sprinkled in. I've always had a soft spot for some good old EDM, artists like Skrillex and Deadmau5 always bring that extra energy I love.

(Matt) - Korn, Arctic Monkeys, dark cinematic film scores, Danny Elfman soundtracks, Asking Alexandria, and Blackbear. Even though the list is eclectic, and the sounds feel worlds apart, they all pull me toward the same feeling of passion and inspiration.
