"No Type" (2014)

"No Type" is one of Rae Sremmurd's biggest and earliest hits. The song was the second single from SremmLife. The song is produced by Mike Will Made-It and Swae Lee and features a minimal yet bouncy instrumental. The song has a very catchy chorus that is instantly recognizable in any setting. "No Type" peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's US Rap Chart and went Platinum in 2015 before being certified 6x Platinum in 2018.

"Throw Sum Mo" feat. Nicki Minaj & Young Thug (2014)

"Throw Sum Mo" is one of Rae Sremmurd's more upbeat hits than other tracks on SremmLife. The booming instrumental, combined with the simple yet incredibly catchy hook from Nicki Minaj, make for a strip club anthem. The song is about exactly what its title suggests, which is throwing money in the club.




Additionally, "Throw Sum Mo" is one of Rae Sremmurd's most exciting songs and features one of Swae Lee's best flows. The song also has a show-stealing appearance from Young Thug, who provides rapid flows and strange yet appealing melodies. The track initially went Platinum in 2016 but is now 3x Platinum as of April 2023, making for their most recent certification. 

"This Could Be Us" (2015)

"This Could Be Us" is a more personal and emotional song than "No Type" or "Throw Sum Mo." The song deals with infidelity and heartbreak as Swae Lee sings in the chorus, "This could be us but you playing." Though the song might be more vulnerable than other songs on SremmLife, "This Could Be Us" is still a major hit song, featuring a catchy hook that was made for singing along. The song has been certified Platinum multiple times, first in June 2016 and its most recent certification being 4x Platinum in April 2023.

"Come Get Her" (2015)

Off the hook alone, "Come Get Her" is one of Rae Sremmurd's biggest hits. It is one of their many songs about having a good time in the club. The track's hook was made for singing along. The verses on the track are energetic, while the hook is slow and melodic. "Come Get Her" was produced by Mike Will Made-It, charting at No. 11 on the US Rap Chart, and is certified 4x Platinum.

"Black Beatles" feat. Gucci Mane (2016)

"Black Beatles" took the world by storm when it came out in 2016. The third single from SremmLife 2 was the soundtrack to the viral "Mannequin Challenge" trend, where people would stand like statues, often in elaborate situations. Rae Sremmurd built their momentum after having multiple hits on their first album, and with the help of the "Mannequin Challenge," "Black Beatles" became their biggest hit to date and remained one of their biggest singles.




The bass-heavy beat combined with the catchy chorus was the recipe for success. The song also features a verse from Gucci Mane, who had been on a victory lap of hit songs following his release from prison that same year. "Black Beatles" was Rae Sremmurd's first No. 1 hit single, achieving 8x Platinum status.

"Swang" (2016)

Also, from SremmLife 2, "Swang" was one of the bigger songs from the album. "Swang" may not have reached the same level of success as "Black Beatles," but it still made for a hit single. Swae Lee's high-pitched rapping in his verse distinguishes the song, and it is the only track in this list that Mike Will Made-It didn't produce. P-Nazty handled the instrumental and the song has since been 5x platinum recently.

"Powerglide" feat. Juicy J (2018)

Of all 27 songs on Rae Sremmurd's SR3MM triple-disc album, "Powerglide" is easily the biggest hit. The song is noticeably more uptempo than usual, featuring a fast rhythm. Much like the song's music video suggests, the music sounds like it was made for fast driving. "Powerglide" samples "Side 2 Side" by Three 6 Mafia, which is exactly why Juicy J sounds so comfortable over the beat. The song is Rae Sremmurd's biggest hit in recent years.
