Las Vegas Fencing Operation Suspect Arrested Again by ICE After Posting Bail

Javier Becerril-Solis, a 49-year-old man, was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after being released on bail following his arrest in connection with a Las Vegas police investigation into an alleged fencing operation. The arrest occurred after a three-month investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department, which involved executing search warrants at multiple locations. Authorities seized over $100,000 worth of merchandise, including shoes, purses, designer clothes, toys, and over-the-counter medications.

According to the police, Becerril-Solis was suspected of purchasing stolen goods from individuals who had stolen them from local stores. He allegedly resold these items at a discounted price at a local swap meet. The police released photos of the seized items, showing a wide array of products such as batteries, hand soaps, mouthwash, razors, vodka, coffee, and perfume.

Becerril-Solis was initially booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of organized retail theft, burglary, and grand larceny. However, upon posting bail, he was immediately taken into ICE custody.
