Andrew Tate is someone who has consistently said controversial things to get a rise out of people. Overall, this is how he was able to build a fanbase online. His outlandish rants about men and women have garnered him millions of online followers. However, he is also in the midst of a sex trafficking case in Romania alongside his brother Tristan. Despite the allegations, Tate has maintained his online presence, and in some cases, he has ramped up his provocations.

For instance, on Wednesday, Tate found himself at war with Juice WRLD fans. This was all sparked by a tweet in which he said "Imagine being a fan of juice wrld, f*cking mindless." Of course, this sparked a ton of outrage from Juice WRLD fans who felt like this was incredibly disrespectful. After all, Juice passed away tragically about five years ago, and fans are still in mourning. In fact, the tweet specifically angered DJ Scheme, who offered some scathing words for Tate.

"1. you're a fucking loser," Scheme wrote. "2. Every content creator passed u around like a little whore now ur all washed up and nobody gives a fuck about you. And for the finale literally you're a human tafficker." It should be noted that this last part is only alleged, and has not yet been proven in a court of law. However, it is clear that Scheme is upset with what Tate had to say, and it is very understandable why. One has to wonder what Tate was even trying to accomplish with this.

Everyone's still talking about "euphoria." No, not Season 3 of the HBO show. It's the Kendrick Lamar diss track against Drake that Azealia Banks unsurprisingly has some hot takes about. Moreover, she went on an Instagram Story spree (and one post) explaining her thoughts on the track on Wednesday (May 1), and didn't hold back her distaste for the track. Whether it was due to the beat, some of the lyrical choices, or K.Dot's movement and circumstances as an artist, the New York MC firmly believes that Drake won the battle. Drake is currently in a bitter feud with none other than Kendrick Lamar. Overall, both artist's fanbases are charged up. For now, it seems like fans are split on who had the better diss track. However, in many online polls, "Euphoria" has been given the edge. Online commentators such as Joe Budden have also given Kendrick the edge, while Drake fans look to poke holes in what K. Dot was saying. It has been fun to watch, and it will be very interesting to see what happens next.

As for Drake, it feels as though he cannot escape the spotlight right now. Regardless of what he does, people are commenting on it in a not-so-positive light. For instance, a video recently went viral that depicts Drake hugging Birdman backstage at a show. Of course, Birdman and Drake have a lot of love for each other, and they go way back. However, fans could not help but notice the blue nail polish that Drizzy was wearing. This led to some homophobic remarks on social media, which is not surprising these days.

Kendrick Lamar dropped off his Drake diss "Euphoria" on Tuesday. Overall, no one was expecting this track to drop. However, Lamar came through with the song and it turned out to be a massive success. It is currently at the top of Apple Music, and some fans believe he killed Drake with the song. That said, Drake is reportedly readying his response, and fans are looking forward to the escalation of all of this. For now, the attention remains on "Euphoria," and it seems like the song is having lasting effects outside of the beef.

For instance, near the end of the song, while mocking Toronto slang, Lamar shouted out a restaurant called New Ho King. This establishment is in the Chinatown area of Toronto, and following the shoutout, it has been receiving tons of five-star reviews. Furthermore, more and more fans are pulling up to the restaurant to grab a bit to eat. Kendrick gave us his order in the song, so people are looking to get just that. While beef can be incredibly negative, there is no doubt that there is a positive angle to all of this.

In a news report, the owner of New Ho King expressed his gratitude towards Kendrick. The owner seems pretty out of the loop when it comes to rap beef. However, he is getting some nice business because of it. Only time will tell whether or not this boom will be temporary or not. Lil Tjay found himself in a bit of a tough situation on Tuesday. Overall, the artist was celebrating his 23rd birthday, and it was supposed to be a joyous occasion. However, while trying to board a private jet at an airport in Miami, Tjay was arrested by authorities. He was taken into custody, and there were very few details surrounding why he was arrested. At the time, the prevailing report was that there was a warrant for his arrest, but the specifics were fairly unknown.

Fans were very concerned for Tjay, especially since he has dealt with some legal issues in the past. However, it seems as though the artist has gotten out of any trouble he was in. We know this because the artist posted a plethora of videos to social media, where he could be seen with his freedom intact. In the clips below, you can see the artist back at the airport, where he was with his friends and a private jet. The artist was flexing the plane, and couldn't help but give a bit of a taunt as it pertains to being a free man again.

J Cole cannot catch a break. He was roasted by the rap community after he decided to apologize to Kendrick Lamar and take his diss track off streaming platforms. He was clowned by Kanye West on the "Like That" remix despite no longer being involved in the battle. Now, another Compton icon, The Game, has decided to take shots at Jermaine Cole on social media. The Game responded to a comment from Officially Ice by blaming the current state of rap battles on Cole. He really didn't hold back.

Officially Ice is a panelist on the Joe Budden Podcast, which means he's entrenched in the battle going on between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. He also remembers what it was like when The Game was going to war with the likes of 50 Cent and G-Unit. He remembers when Game was dropping classic diss songs like "300 Bars N Runnin" in the mid-2000s. "I want one of these rap n**gas to diss Game," Ice tweeted. "Just so y'all can what a proper diss record looks like." The Game responded to the post by saying his approach to battles is outdated because it doesn't follow rules.

"My level of disrespect has no limit and I can actually rap rap," Game wrote back. "Fans gone choose up with whatever artist is currently safe for the culture to love as a whole." The Compton hitmaker went on to denigrate the way things have changed in the last two decades, before turning his attention to J. Cole. "Hip hop/Rap or whatever y'all calling it these days was already watered down," he asserted. "Then Cole apologized and turned this sh*t to Kool-Aid wit no sugar." This is actually the first time that The Game has spoken on the J. Cole apology. Given the rapper's combative history, though, it's not a surprise to learn he hated it.

The Game may be from the same city as Kendrick Lamar, but the rapper has collaborated with both Dot and Drake in the past. Drake even threw subliminal disses at Lamar when he appeared on the rapper's 2015 single "100." The Game posted a Drake quote on Instagram shortly after the battle started, which led many fans to theorize that he was choosing the 6 God's side. He's since clarified that he's a fan of Lamar, and thinks he's an "incredible" rapper. None of this reverence, however, applies to J. Cole.

Angel Reese is a competitor. She knows what it takes to win, and she doesn't have a problem getting in people's faces to prove it. Reese is famous for speaking her mind, on and off the court, but she decided to draw the line during a recent Q&A with the Chicago Sky. The basketball team was asked whether they preferred Drake or Kendrick Lamar in the ongoing rap battle, but Reese was one of the few who dodged the question. Instead of picking a side, the WNBA stalwart decided to play it safe.

The majority of the Chicago Sky team answered the prompt, and the majority of them picked Drake. It's fitting that the guy who made the "Best I Ever Had" music video has the support of the WNBA. Reese, on the other hand, opted for a more diplomatic approach. She made it clear that she doesn't want to cause any additional strife between the rappers.

Even more importantly, though, she didn't want the headache of having to deal with various news outlets hyping up her answer. "I'm not getting in this controversy because I'll be on Twitter, The Shade Room, all that," Reese explained. "Nope!"

This isn't the first time Reese has avoided the "Drake or Kendrick" question. The athlete was asked to pick during the red carpet for the WNBA Draft, but she told Complex she didn't want any part of it. "I don't want to get in the mix," she said. "I'm out the mix!"

Angel Reese has publicly spoken about Drake in the past. During a 2023 appearance on The Breakfast Club, the athlete revealed that both Future and the Toronto rapper slid into her DMs after she won the NCAA Championship. "They just congratulated me," she noted. "It's all congratulations." Nevertheless, Charlamagne tha God told Reese to stay away from both rappers given their reputations."You said two that you need to stay far away from," he advised.

It looks to be all love between Reese and Drake, however. The former appeared on the cover of Teen Vogue in 2023, and she quoted a lyric from Drake's "Jimmy Cooks" while promoting it on Instagram. "Don't tell me that you a model if you ain't been in Vogue or whatever Drake said," she wrote in the caption.

Los Angeles has more eyes on it than usual, which is saying something. The Lakers were just eliminated by the Denver Nuggets, the Clippers are fighting to stay alive against the Dallas Mavs, and the Compton savior, Kendrick Lamar, is duking it out with Canada's favorite son. Some Angelinos theorized that Lamar dropped "Euphoria" at 8:24 am as a tribute to Laker Kobe Bryant, but the Drake diss was unexpectedly tied to the L.A. Clippers on May 1, when the song played during the TNT halftime show.

The halftime panel featured the usual suspects: Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson. Each of them weighed in on who they thought was going to take game 5 (spoilers, but Dallas prevailed) in predictable fashion. The curveball in the broadcast came when the show cut back from a commercial break and Lamar's ferocious diss track was blaring over the speakers.

It wasn't even the soft, melodic intro, either. The TNT halftime show was playing the third beat switch. The one where K. Dot cuts loose and calls Drake a bad father (among other things). It was the last things fan expected to hear, and the same goes for the panelists.

Shaq and Kenny Smith began laughing when they heard the song. "C'mon man," Smith noted. "Y'all putting us in the middle of the rap beef. [Now] we in the middle." The Jet then joked that the network needed to play Drake's "Push Ups" in order to stay neutral. The rest of Inside the broadcast went over without any beef talk, but one of the panel members actually weighed in on the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle previously.

Shaq voiced concern for both artists during an episode of his podcast The Big Podcast With Shaq. "I like competition," he admitted. "I love it, you know, because we all have egos. We all say we're the best and the fans want you to prove it." The NBA legend asserted that things between Drake and Kendrick Lamar would be fine as long as they kept their conflict to the music. "I just hope it don't go into all that other stuff," he added. "You know, 'My crew see your crew and we start fighting and shooting and all that.'"

Given Drake and Dot's track record, it doesn't seem like Shaq has anything to worry about. The same goes for the rest of the TNT panel.

Haley Joel Osment is iconic. He was nominated for an Academy Award when he was just 11 years old, and is regularly cited as one of the best child actors of all time. He's continued to work as an adult on shows like The Boys, but the most unexpected development in his career has to be his connection to the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle. Osment isn't dropping disses on these rappers, but he was a reference point on Lamar's recent song "Euphoria." And evidently, he appreciated the shout-out.

There's been lots of debate over the Osment reference. Some fans think Lamar combined the actor's name with televangelist Joel Osteen to create an additional layer of others, but others think the rapper simply confused Osment and Osteen. "Am I battlin' ghost or AI? N**ga feelin' like Joel Osteen," he spits. "Funny, he was in a film called AI, and my sixth sense tellin' me to off him."

Haley Joel Osment starred in the Steven Spielberg blockbuster A.I. Artificial Intelligence, as well as The Sixth Sense, which earned him the aforementioned Oscar nomination. The line makes complete sense, and is ingenious, but Lamar seemingly just says the wrong name. (For the record, Genius theorizes that the rapper is riffing on Osteen using writers for his sermons).

One social media user put it best when they tweeted: "I don't think the Joel Osteen line was a mistake solely because he knew Haley Joel Osment was in Artificial Intelligence, and who the f*ck knows that without knowing his correct name." Osment didn't issue a statement or comment on Lamar's confusing mashup of names, though. He simply liked the X (formerly Twitter) link to the song "Euphoria" on the rapper's profile. Plain and simple.

Osment has proven to be a hip-hop fan based on some of his past remarks. He named Flying Lotus as one of his favorite artists of all time, which is fitting given that Lotus worked on Kendrick Lamar's masterpiece To Pimp a Butterfly. Haley Joel Osment also starred in the music video for the 2016 Jonwayne song "Minerals & Gems." The actor rapped the entire song while dressed as Jonwayne.

Ryan Garcia has been the talk of the boxing world in 2024. He defeated Devin Haney in a shocking upset, despite not being able to compete for the WBC Super Lightweight Title. The more people learned about the fight, however, the less Garcia's victory seems to be legitimate. On May 1, ESPN's Mike Coppinger dropped a bombshell regarding the substances in the boxer's system. He revealed that Garcia tested positive for a specific kind of PED shortly before he got into the ring with Haney.

Coppinger explained that test results taken the day before the fight reveal Garcia to have Ostarine in his system. "Ryan Garcia tested positive for the PED Ostarine," he wrote. "The day before and the day of his upset win over Devin Haney, per a VADA letter obtained by ESPN." The reporter did note that the fighter has time to check these results against the second sample. "Garcia has 10 days to request his B-sample be tested," he added. "A-sample also screened positive for 19-norandrosterone but unconfirmed."

This is only the latest in a series of outside-the-ring complications for Ryan Garcia. The boxer was set to fight Haney for the Super Lightweight belt, but he came in three pounds heavy at the weigh in. Bill Haney, the trainer and father of Garcia's opponent, blasted the fighter during an SI interview. "You trying to hurt my baby," he asserted. "We played it fair. We didn't do it like that... You scared of Devin on a level playing field. I feel f*cked up over this. If you can brag about doing it, you shouldn't be on drugs."

Garcia has denied the PED results outright. The fighter hopped on to social media to claim the test is "bullsh*t" and a means of dismissing his victory. "Everybody knows that I don't cheat," he told viewers. "What can I say? Why didn't they come out with this before the fight, if they found it before? Why would they let me step into the ring as a cheater, and then come out with the victory, and then they post this?" The fighter wrapped up his statement by claiming that he wouldn't even know where to get PEDs if he wanted. "I don't even know where to get steroids, at the end of the day," he added. "I barely take supplements."
