Kendrick Lamar Accused Of Stealing Old Tweets For 'Not Like Us'
Kendrick Lamar is in hot water. X (formerly Twitter) users have uncovered old tweets suggesting the Grammy-winning rapper's most talked about bars from his "Not Like Us" diss track aimed at Drake were stolen. The feud between the two rap stars began after a leaked Drake diss track hit the internet. On "Pushups" Drake took slammed other rappers including Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar, where he called the Compton rapper 'Pipsqueak."

Since the track dropped all hell has broken loose in the hip-hop world. Kendrick Lamar has not let up on his beef with Drake. Lamar has released four diss tracks towards Drake and was previously featured on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That." Lamar's record "Euphoria" pointed out how much he hates the Toronto rapper. From the way Drake walks, talks, and dresses. On "6:16 In LA" the rapper points out Drake's bullying antics and addresses loyalty, or lack thereof, in his circle. On Lamar's 3rd response, "Meet The Grahams," he accuses his rival of having a secret 11-year-old daughter.

It is the "Alright" rapper's last track that has fans questioning this ongoing rap battle. On "Not Like Us" Lamar goes ballistic on Drake while throwing out many accusations. With '[DJ] Mustard on the Beat,' the diss track has social media calling it a summer hit. Besides the dance-friendly beat, the rapper also enthusiastically rips Drake apart.

"Say, Drake, I hear you like 'em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/ To any b-- that talk to him and they in love/ Just make sure you hide your lil' sister from him."

Lamar doubles down on his claims while referring to Drake's 2021 hit album Certified Lover Boy, adding

"Certified loverboy, certified pedophiles."

Fans reacted strongly to the track as viral memes and reactions swept across social media. But now social media is calling out Lamar for not only allegedly stealing the above lyrics from X but also other lyrics throughout the song.

In a post that has garnered over 6 million views, a collection of tweets shows users having their one-liners referring to Drake.

"Drake's favorite chord must be A minor."

The tweet is also a lyric in Lamar's "Not Like Us."

There has yet to be a comment from Lamar or his camp as fans come to the rapper's defense. One user posted,

"If you think Kendrick Lamar went on Twitter to find punchlines you're delusional."

 

Still, some spectators are convinced that the rapper may have had assistance coming up with his bars.

Snoop Dogg's Daughter Cori Broadus Says She 'Can't Wait To Be On Your TV' Following News She Will Star In E! Docu-Series Produced By Her Dad
Hip-hop vet Snoop Dogg is producing a docu-series based on the life of his daughter Cori Broadus.

The E! network announced limited details about the project yesterday (Thursday, May 9th), revealing the project will be released sometime between 2024 - 2025.

Reportedly, Snoop Dogg is producing the project in collaboration with E!, Death Row Pictures and 101 Studios. The series, which is reportedly untitled at this time, will star Cori Broadus, 24, and her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, 31, as they deal with life while preparing for their upcoming wedding day. As previously reported, the couple got engaged back in 2022 and received an outpour of support from Snoop Dogg and his wife and Shante Broadus.

Reports state that the docu-series will also feature the entire Braodus family as they support Cori Broadus while she continues to manage with her health struggles. The Choc Factory CEO has been very vocal about living with a chronic disease called lupus, which she was diagnosed with during childhood. Back in January of this year, Cori had a health scare as a result of the illness and revealed that she suffered a severe stroke. 

It seems now, however, Cori is in much better spirits. The celebrity took to her Instagram story to celebrate her upcoming series, writing:

"can't wait to be on your tv screen!!!!"

The Game Unleashes On Rival Rick Ross In Diss Track 'Freeway's Revenge': 'You 12 Lemon Pepper Wings From A Heart Attack'
Another day, another rap beef. Compton rapper The Game came out swinging by releasing a diss track "Freeway's Revenge," aimed at rapper Rick Ross. X (formerly Twitter) has exploded and many are not surprised that things between the two have ignited hip-hop's latest rap beef.

They have been trading jabs on social media for weeks as Drake and Kendrick Lamar's battle continues to have a ripple effect throughout the industry.

The beef between Rick Ross and The Game began when both took sides on Drake's and Kendrick Lamar's beef. Rick Ross trolled Drake on social media, often taking shots and backing up Kendrick Lamar's demise towards the Toronto rapper. Ever since a leaked diss track by Drake hit the internet back in April the polarizing Civil War of rap battles only intensified. On the track,  "Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)" Drake took shots at Ross, The Weeknd, Future, and Kendrick Lamar. 

Game has not been a fan of Ross' actions, including the latter's claim that Drake had a nose job on his diss track "Champagne Moments." The Maybach Music Group owner also pushed the viral hashtag 'BBL Drizzy.'

The "How We Do" rapper doubled- down on his support for Drake when he posted

"It be the fat ni**as with the skinny legs always running they mouth."

In "Freeway's Revenge" Game fired shots at Ross' weight, his past as a correction officer, and his health.

Opening his diss track with lyrics such as

"Cut open his stomach and stuff bricks in it. Put his body on a scale like there's fish in it. I can see a b##ch in him!"

He also rapped,

"Your baby mama told me you like to get pee'd on

You a C.O., That's the last time you had keys on."

Adding,

"You 12 lemon pepper wings from a heart attack

Akademiks, get this nigga Ozempic starter pack"

There's no surprise that fans are having a strong reaction to Game's latest.

One user posted,

"The scream I just Scrumpt... I'm weak @thegame Flame his big A## #Freewaysrevenge This that olf Game. Big Back got problems!!"

 

Another X user wrote,

" The Game drops New Rick Ross Diss and I'm not gonna lie he talking spicy.."

One X user posted,

Rubi Rose's dating history is getting lots of attention amid her new relationship with Druski.

On Thursday (May 9), an old interview that Rubi Rose did with DJ Vlad resurfaced. In the chat, which initially aired in 2019, Rubi Rose breaks down who she had and had not dated at the time. Asked about Travis Scott, she confessed she dated him,

"When I was younger."

Rubi was 21 when the interview premiered on YouTube, so it's unclear how much "younger" she was when she dated Travis Scott. 

She added,

"Oh wait, I shouldn't do this. I shouldn't do this game. Should I do this game?"

She decided to continue so she could clear up who she hadn't dated.

She also admitted to dating 21 Savage, 

"When I was younger."

She added of the rappers,

"I was with them a long time ago. Like..."

DJ Vlad pointed out that Rubi Rose was only 21, so it couldn't have been too long ago. She smiled and nodded, adding of her response,

"I'm just kidding..."

She also denied rumors that she had dated Cam Newton, Soulja Boy, and Lil Yachty.



Rubi is now 26, and Travis Scott is 33, meaning they have an age difference of seven years. 21 Savage is 31, so he and Rubi Rose are five years apart. Given the age gap, many fans speculate that she dated the rappers when she was a minor. However, that hasn't been proven or confirmed.

Still, fans have been doing some investigating and pulled an Instagram photo that Rubi posted in July 2014. Travis, who was 23 at the time, liked the photo. Rubi was 16.

That same week, she also alluded to lying about her age to NFL players.

Also in 2014, she alleged,

"Just got invited to fly out to Cali to watch my boo play #GoChargers!!! .....the only question is will my mom say yes"

She also tweeted a message to Travis later in 2014 that read,

"I'm Savin me for u.."

 

Earlier that year, she alleged that rapper The Game, who is now 44, sent her a DM, and in 2016, tweeted,

"Imma keep it real I f*ck*ed Birdman for the deal"

 

As the tweets went viral on Thursday night, Rubi suggested she never actually wrote them. She reposted a message from Sexyy Red that read,

"I ain't write that"

But that hasn't stopped fans from weighing in, causing Rubi to trend on Twitter early Friday (May 10). See a few reactions below:

Former NBA Player Glen 'Big Baby' Davis Sentenced To 40 Months In Prison For Insurance Fraud Scheme
One retired NBA player is about to spend a little time behind bars.

Today Glen "Big Baby" Davis was sentenced to 40 months (3 years and 4 months) in prison for defrauding the NBA's healthcare plan. As previously reported, in October 2021, Glen Davis, 38, was among 18 former professional basketball players arrested by federal authorities for their involvement in a health insurance fraud scheme. In November of last year, it was revealed that he was facing 20 years behind bars after being found guilty of health care fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to make false statements, and conspiracy to commit health care and wire fraud. Reportedly, in total, the men swindled more than $5 million before they were caught.

In comparison to the time he could have received, some might think Glen Davis' sentence was a little light. According to one report noting his crimes,

"Davis submitted a total of $132,000 worth of claims, including saying he got $27,200 worth of dental work at Beverly Hills dental office on October 2, 2018. Authorities said he was actually in Las Vegas at the time and flew to Paris that same day, using the geolocation data for his cellphone to prove it."

In addition to his time out at the big house, Davis was reportedly ordered to pay $80,000 in restitution and serve three years of supervised release.

Davis played in the NBA for three teams throughout eight seasons.

Thanks to them living their lives in front of the cameras, the world has watched as most of Kris Jenner's offspring have welcomed their own children. To date, the only one of her kids who isn't a parent is Kendall Jenner, 28. However, during a recent interview with Vogue, the famous model shared that there was a time when she believed she'd be a mother by this point in her life.

During the chat, Kendall Jenner said that when she was growing up, she was sure she'd be a mother by 27. She continued,

"Now I'm past that and I feel like I'm still so young. I'm enjoying my kidless freedom."

Tyrese's Ex-Wife Norma Mitchell Requests Restraining Order Days After Suing Singer For Defamation
The ex-wife of Tyrese Gibson is now seeking a protection order against him.

According to TMZ, Norma Mitchell recently filed a court motion seeking a restraining order against the Fast & Furious star, citing his social media posts as proof of his alleged harassment.

Reportedly, Norma Mitchell filed the restraining order request in the days after she sued her ex-husband for defamation. As we recently covered, the mother of Tyrese Gibson's eldest daughter Shayla filed a lawsuit against him earlier this week, amid their back and forth over an alleged tuition debt the celebrity said she owes him. They were married from 2007 - 2009 and share one daughter.

In the restraining order paperwork, Norma Mitchell reportedly argued that the same social media posts cited in her defamation suit, where Tyrese Gibson accused her of extortion, forgery, and other things, should also be deemed as harassment. She claimed that the posts exposed private details about their court battle, attacked her directly, and also encouraged his fans to attack her. Additionally, Mitchell claimed that Tyrese sharing sensitive information while leaking their court documents to the public puts their daughter Shayla's safety in jeopardy.

Mitchell is reportedly seeking the court to require Tyrese to remove all posts regarding their court battle and prevent him from speaking on the matter publicly any further. On Top of that, she wants the entertainer to cover the costs of therapy sessions she'll likely have to book to cope with the emotional stress of their litigations.

It has not been reported that a judge has ruled on the matter at this time, and it does not appear Tyrese has reacted publicly to the situation.

Lizzo Jokingly Labels Met Gala Critics 'Fatphobic' After Social Media Users Compare Her Dress To A Menstrual Cup, Among Other Things
Pop star Lizzo recently had some words for those critical of her Met Gala look.

The 36-year-old deemed anyone who took issue with her head-tuning ensemble as "fatphobic" after social media users shared their negative critiques of the outfit online.

Lizzo, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson, recently uploaded some photos and videos from the fashion event held on Monday (May 6), writing the caption:

"IF IM NOT IN UR BEST DRESSED UR FATPHOBIC"

The "Good as Hell" songstress was one of many celebrities who attended the annual fashion event, which also saw draw-dropping outfits from Zendaya, Doja Cat, Tyla, and more. As far as Lizzo's look goes, the fashion designer who crafted the dress shared that it took 700 hours to make, and was specifically modified to match the singer's skin tone and body type. He told reporters about the look:

"honestly, now that the dress has been recreated for Lizzo, I like this version even better. It's also perfect for showcasing her gorgeous body."

Despite the effort put into the look, however, social media users have not been shy about sharing their unfiltered thoughts about the dress. The botanical sculptural gown thus far has been compared to a menstrual cup, a lampshade, and a dog cone, among other things.







However, Lizzo seems to be unfazed by the opinions of her haters. If you recall just last month, the Grammy Award winner made it clear that she would no longer be engaging with negative energy aimed her way after social media users chimed in on a viral video that inadvertently joked about her weight.

Additionally, Lizzo has also continued to face criticism while battling toxic workplace and sexual harassment claims made by some of her former dancers. The lawsuit is still ongoing.

LL Cool J Not A Fan Of André 3000's Instrumental Flute Album: 'I Don't Wanna Hear It'
Hip-hop vet LL Cool J wasn't here for André 3000's instrumental music project.

The entertainer slammed the Outkast member's flute album "New Blue Sun" which debuted last year, arguing that he'd rather have heard something more lyrical from such a talented musician.

LL Cool J, real name James Todd Smith, shared his critical thoughts about the record during a recent appearance on Lebron James' talk series The Shop. He stated:

"I'mma be very clear...[André 3000] amazing right, his bars is all the way up...not the flute B...not othe f***ing flute,"

"Let's not lie to ourselves, I don't wanna hear it...I want him to get with Big Boi, I want them to make an Outkast, or do a solo album...one verse is enough material for album he's so gifted right...we not gone lie, that man need to know the truth!"

As we previously covered, André 3000's debut solo project drew very mixed reviews following its release, as it surprisingly featured none of the rapper's iconic lyricism nor any defining elements of hip-hop in general. Much like LL Cool J, fans were disappointed that the first album since the musician's nearly 17-year hiatus was vastly different from the classics he created while recording alongside fellow rapper Big Boi as music group Outkast. The hip-hop duo released their last album "Idlewild" in 2006, and until "New Blue Sun," André hadn't recorded any new music since.

Though some decided the instrumental project wasn't their cup of tea, many supported André's venture into something different; and while it may not have garnered commercial success like Outkast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, André expressed the joy he felt making and sharing the project while promoting the album. He also gave an in-depth explanation of what led him to create the project, admitting that he had to step away from hip-hop music as it no longer felt authentic to his life.

Though LL might not have liked it, Hollywood writer Lena Waithe, who also was a guest on The Shop's episode, vehemently defended it. The actress/producer hailed the project as "calming" and highlighted other hip-hop stars that ventured into instrumental music, specifically noting Queen Latifah's 2004 jazz project "The Dana Owens Album."
