Atlanta Streets Alive on Peachtree Street  - On Sunday, May 19th, Atlanta Streets Alive will close 2.7 miles of Atlanta's signature street to cars, and open it up to the public - for human powered amusement.

For four hours, you, your friends and your family will have the chance to take back 2.7 miles of Peachtree Street - by foot, by bike, by roller skates, by skateboard or by any human-powered means of transportation. Just one thing... no gasoline-engines allowed.

Atlanta Streets Alive aims to transform Atlanta streets into safe places for people to bike, walk, run, dance and skate - for fun, fitness and transportation.

The event is organized by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition in partnership with Midtown Alliance, Central Atlanta Progress, and hundreds of local businesses, activity partners and volunteers.

The 10th annual East Atlanta Beer Festival will take place on Saturday, May 18th in East Atlanta Village's Brownwood Park. Come join us as we celebrate great craft beers, good food, rockin' local music and entertainment, and East Atlanta! On your way in or out, visit shops and restaurants in the Village. Ticket on sale dates and pricing information will be available soon!
Admission Includes:An East Atlanta Beer Festival souvenir pint glass!Sampling of over 175 craft beers!Live bands and DJs!General Admission tickets are $40 in advance (up until 11:30 a.m. on May 18th).
Tickets, to the event any remain, will be available for sale at the gate for $45. Gate sales begin at Noon and can be purchased by cash or credit card.
Sampling cups are provided upon entry. Please take care to keep track of your sampling cup. Outside liquid containers are strictly prohibited (we will have water available free of charge onsite). The wristband is your ticket for reentry. No wristband = no reentry. No joke.

We strive to ensure each ticket results in proceeds for those good works. Alive! Expo,the Southeast's only and longest-running natural products, green living and total wellness event will return to the Georgia World Congress Center on May 4th and 5th. The expo features health & wellness industry experts, eco companies and natural product manufacturers, fitness and cooking demonstrations, kids' fitness stations, live health lectures and over 100 vendors.

At the ninth annual event, natural and eco product companies will interact with consumers and buyers for local natural food stores; give the latest advice, product samples and information directly to the event attendees. Additionally, there will be wellness lectures, cooking classes, massage stations and fitness demonstrations all weekend long.

Ex Atlanta Falcons fullback, Ovie Mughelli, will once again join Alive! Expo with the "Ovie Mughelli Foundation's "Recycle on the Run" exhibit, where kids run drills and learn about the importance of fitness, wellness and recycling and being eco friendly.

Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food items to the Alive! Expo which will be donated to the Atlanta Food Bank and Hosea Feed the Hungry; the organizations for which Alive! Expo collected over 2,000 pounds of food at last year's event and over 10,000 pounds of food over the past years.

A portion of ticket proceeds from Alive! Expo will benefit Project Green, a non-profit founded by Patrycja Siewert Towns, and other non-profits soon to be announced.
