This take it back Thursday track comes to us from De La Soul.  The year was 1991 the album was "De La Soul is Dead" and the track was "Ring Ring Ring".  This was the first release from their second album a catchy beat with black and white visuals. It highlighted how they were getting approached time and time again by hopeful rappers who wanted to play them their demos.  De La are Hip Hop legends and to this day still rocking out on nationwide tours and concerts like Rock the Bells and Paid Dues.

The nominees have just been released for the 2013 BET Awards and there appears to be a clear leader coming for the YMCMB camp. Drake hasn't dropped his 2013 album yet, but the Young Money hitmaker looks to reign over the 2013 BET Awards seeing as he is nominated for a whopping 12 awards at the upcoming 2013 BET Awards. Check out the full list of categories and nominees.

Both 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar earned eight noms apiece, A$AP Rocky and Jay-Z each have five, and Justin Timberlake and Miguel have four each.
